Guest Speaker – Roll a Hippo Foundation
  Bill Pollitt  introduced our speaker Luke Vorstermans 
  • Name has been changed to Rolling Water Foundation
  • President of the Rotary Club of Gibsons BC
  • 2015 – 2019 – 51 Rotary Clubs supported Roll a Hippo 
  • Over 500 Hippo rollers funded and delivered
  • Covid changed everything – pandemic brought hunger and hardship
  • Bundled gardening tools and seeds with rollers
  • 2025 -2030 improved design reduced volume , more manageable and more affordable

Happy Bucks
  • Laura Patko – mother broker her hip Halloween – hospital staff and the care she has received is terrific
  • Denis Daly – attended Norwegian Singing – 300 people
  • Gary Webster  for Ellie Kim and Laura Patko putting the clubs accomplishments on the website
  • Steve Rickard – for son receiving an award, celebrated his 50 wedding anniversary with separate vacations 
  • Russell Kane – for the presentation and surgery on his right knee
  • Chris Bailey – for the Blue Jays – best baseball seen in years
  • Al Muller – became complacent, then lost his smart phone.   After a lot of grief – did get it back
  • Paul Cahill – executive meeting at 8:31 – Please confirm participation for Friday’s double bingo.  Club is receiving $1,500 per bingo
  • President Marion Mitchell-Banks for flight in a 4 seater Cessina to Jasper, Banff, Canmor.   Was the pilot for 3 minutes
