Oh Canada: A rousing rendition was sung by the club Invocation: P K Ganguly gave the Invocation. Rotary Business: - Gary Webster had previously put forth a motion to donate $2,500 to I Can For Kids. This will bring our total for this Rotary year to $7,500. The motion passed unanimously
- Paul Cahill brought up the concern that we had two Bingos scheduled, June 28th and July 3, which are nestled between the Casino, June 24 and 25th, as well as the July 8th Stampede Parade. A unanimous vote was made to have the Bingo’s rescheduled.
- Russ Kane discussed this year’s Ribfest
- Slated for September 9-11
- Sponsorship package to be issued to all members
- Current thinking is a ticketed event with liquor license and live entertainment
- Saturday evening will be a big screen Stampeders game
- Cjay 92 is a sponsor
- Bell Media will provide traditional media relations
- INFRONT will provide social media
- If the event is wound down by 11pm each night noise isn’t a concern
