Here’s a message from Rosedale Hospice regarding our $25,000 donation to support the repair of the facility’s elevators.
Update from Rosedale Hospice:
We are excited to share that both elevators at Rosedale Hospice are now fully upgraded and operational, thanks to the generosity of donors, including the Rotary Club of Calgary Centennial.
This was an essential project as both elevators were unreliable for the demands of the hospice.
The service elevator, known as the “Elevette,” received new internal mechanisms, a refreshed cabin, and a quieter, smoother ride. The main passenger elevator project included new electrical systems, upgraded technology, a dedicated emergency phone line, and a modern new look.
Both elevators have been inspected, approved, and are now in use, helping ensure Rosedale Hospice remains a safe and comfortable space for patients, families, volunteers, and staff.
