The club meets every Wednesday morning at 6:45 am for 7:00 am at the Chamber of Commerce Building (corner of 6 Ave. SW & Centre Street), Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Parking at meter bays is free up to 9 a.m. and there are lots of bays in the vicinity on 1st and 2nd Street, and 3rd Avenue SW close to Plus-15 entrances. Be aware that there are tow away zones on the main thoroughfares at this time of day.

Youth Exchange Host Family
Mert has landed!  Our Turkish exchange student is here and the Kinashes are hosting Mert until December 1.  We are looking for at least two more host families for the Dec to July time frames. Please see Mel Foht for details.

FUNDRAISER FOR THE ALBERTA CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL

(SNOWY OWL AND PARTRIDGE PICNIC SITES)

 

The Rotary Club of Calgary Centennial is sponsoring a Family Fun Event at North Glenmore Park on September 18, 2010 from 9:30 am to 2:00pm. Bring your bicycles, tricycles, wagons, roller blades or even walk or run and join in a fund raiser to purchase equipment for the Alberta Children’s Hospital (equipment or brochure to be named shortly). Family’s can either raise pledges from friends and neighbours or an entire family can participate by making a donation of $50.
