Veronica Lawrence, Resource Development Associate (Community), from Calgary Women's Emergency Shelter will be updating our Club on CWES current activities and needs. Since 1974, the Shelter has focused on ending family violence and abuse in the lives of women, children, youth and men. They are more than a shelter, providing innovative safety, healing and prevention programs. Over the years, they have helped more than 200,000 Calgarians in their efforts to end family violence and abuse.
